A Roup Sale is a competitive sale conducted online. A "competitive sale" is one where potential purchasers bid against each other. The word “Roup” is an old Scottish word for an auction. It is an old word for a new and innovative way of selling: land/building | real estate | automotive and any item that has value in the thousands.
There are three main features to a Roup Sale:
The Roup Sale System functions similarly to an auction, but there are major differences. No one confuses a Roup Sale for an involuntary auction. Roup Sales are conducted entirely online and utilize texts, technology and sophisticated software to accomplish YOUR goal:
to get the best price possible in the least amount of time for every asset posted.
A Roup Sale is an event. It is produced like a show. Like any show, there is an opening day and a closing date. We direct the show. The Sponsors act as producers. You and your assets are the stars. Because the online tenders are competitive and pre-emptive, sales can happen throughout the event, not just on the last day. Like any competitive sale, all participants see all bids as they are made. It is an event because people don't just watch, they participate. They participate because it is exciting. At any time, a participant can submit a Trigger Bid. This means that their bid is “Pre-emptive”.
We call it a Trigger Bid because it triggers an immediate virtual response from our system. A text goes out to all registrants, notifying them that they have only two hours to respond if they want to compete with the Trigger Bid received.
This adds to the competitive nature of the Event.
In a Roup Sale Event, the thrill of bidding lasts throughout the Event, not just on the final day. Added to the excitement is the fact that registrants can win prizes for participating.
